Our next destination was Puerto Iguazu, a short 2 hour flight from Buenos Aires. The reason for our trip there was to visit the Argentinian side of the Iguazu Falls – a set of over 280 waterfalls in a 55 hectare national park. We had a bit of a blustery day so managed to get a bit soggy in all the spray, particulalrly at the largest waterfall – Garganta del Diablo – The Devil´s Throat. We also managed to get completely soaked when we took a boat trip up to and into the spray from the falls but it was all worth it. The place is stunning and more to follow as we are yet to see it from the Brazilian side.
We finished our time in Argentina with a final steak and some Argentinian wine. We are very sad to leave Argentina as it has been fantastic. We will be back!!!
